Friday 15th June - Big Band Spectacular ...with Her Majesty’s Royal Marines
You don't get more Regal than the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines, fresh from their part in the national Diamond Jubilee celebrations in London.
The Royal Marines Band Service has a long history of producing high quality jazz ensembles, dance bands and big bands and we’re delighted to welcome their 18 piece band, under the baton of Richard Long, for our Big Band Spectacular.
Our superb retro night will feature big band and vocal music from the past sixty years so come dressed for the occasion.
The Big Band will be supported by the ever popular ‘Yorkie’, who delighted audiences in 2010.
We’re also delighted to announce that proceeds from the sale of tickets for this evening’s event will go to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charitable Trust.
Doors open 6.00 pm - Main performance at 7.00 pm
Saturday 16th June Saturday Proms night
Who needs Hyde Park? – Whiteford’s got it all for a truly memorable Proms evening.
Our final, fabulous orchestral Proms will see the Radio Light Orchestra return with a selection of your favourite tunes from the last 10 years of the festival.
The RLO will be joined by soloist Helen Sheppard, the Loveny Male Voice Choir and all the drama of the Kernow Pipes & Drums. Finishing as ever with our fantastic firework finale, our final Proms night will certainly end with a bang! A dramatic end to a truly memorable evening.

Sunday 17th June Sunday Chill Out
Relaxing on a Sunday afternoon…….
Family fun is the order of the day on Sunday and who else could we welcome back for our final Chill Out than the marvellous Mad Dog Mcrea.
Our Sunday event provides the perfect opportunity to lie back and relax whilst the children enjoy learning circus skills with a professional entertainer.
Family Sunday Chill Out is free for children aged 11 and under.
Doors open 12.00 pm Main performance from 1.30 pm
