A hilarious and emotionally endearing story which explores the joys, pains, excitement and isolation of living in both rural and urban environments.
Maxwell, an inspirational young performer, jumps seamlessly into a huge range of characters, from local boys in Bude to Hackney rappers and London pigeons. Physical performance, witty rhymes and original music combine to create an immersive story which will connect to people of all backgrounds.
Maxwell is part of the Writers Hub at Soho Theatre and previously an Associate Artist at the Albany in Deptford. His work has been commissioned by Birmingham Rep, Southbank Centre, Soho Theatre and Warwick Arts Centre.

Carn to Cove enables rural communities to bring something 'different' to their village hall, to bring wonderment and fun into the community, to make people gasp and cry with laughter, to create a social event to bring the village together or to make a bit of money for hall funds!
