Author Edward Docx will be in conversation with his Editor Kris Doyle, of Pan Macmillan Publishers, about his latest book Let Go My Hand and the journey he took to write it.
They will discuss the writing process, and the all-important relationship with the Editor and the role they play to ensure a perfect end result.
They will be sharing their top tips on finding an agent and how to pitch to publishers.
Edward Docx’s previous novels are The Calligrapher, Self Help and The Devil’s Garden.
He lives and works in London.
Self Help won The Geoffrey Faber Prize and was long listed for the Man Booker.
He has been short-listed for The George Orwell Prize for Journalism and the Rowntree-Orwell Prize.
He regularly appears on radio and television as a cultural commentator and he reviews fiction for The Guardian.
