Hugo Tagholm, CEO of Surfers Against Sewage will talk about the evolution of the organisation from a single-issue pressure group into one of the UK’s best recognised marine conservation charities.
He will focus on their current work on plastic pollution, encompassing community beach cleans, lobbying government and promoting initiatives to stop plastic at source including the plastic bag charge and the current call for a deposit return system on plastic bottles.
