A dynamic young clarinettist, Jonathan Parkin graduated from the Royal College of Music with First Class Honours in 2007.

Jonathan won a place on the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s Future First scheme for the 2007-2008 season and was also a finalist in the 18th Haverhill Soloist competition.

Here he performs a varied and fascinating programme, including music by Poulenc, Ireland and Bergmuller.

With piano accompaniment.

The Pound, Corsham, Wiltshire

The Pound is a small, independently run community arts venue based in Corsham, Wiltshire.

A hub for the arts in North Wiltshire, The Pound presents nearly 300 performances, workshops and exhibitions a year, both at the arts centre and at other venues across the district.

The Pound is home to a number of community arts organisations who rehearse and run workshops throughout the year.

Open from 9.30am to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays (until 9.30pm on performance nights), The Pound has a gallery space and Café / bar.

Our Café / bar is open Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 6.30pm and on Saturday from 9am to 5pm (or until 9pm when there is a performance) serving fair-trade tea and coffee, fruit teas, cakes and light lunches. Fully licensed, the café bar also serves wine, beers and lager as well as soft drinks.
