'Coliseum' : Edward Rowe
A story telling and collecting night.
This year, The Asylum is sited on the footprint of Cornwall’s Coliseum on Carlyon Beach.
The Coliseum was an extraordinary place, with many stories to tell.
Edward Rowe's (Bait, Kernow King) new show, Coliseum is based on his Dad’s memories of being a doorman at the legendary venue.
Join us for a sneak preview of selected scenes performed by Edward alongside Mary Woodvine, directed by Simon Harvey.
We know you have your own stories too and we want to hear them!
In the second part of the evening there will be time to have a drink and share your memories and momentos of great nights out.
This is a Free but Ticketed event with a cash only bar.
If you would like to make a donation to support more events like this there will be a collection at the end of the evening.

This year, more than ever, we wanted the shows to celebrate togetherness, inclusivity and strength in numbers – and we’re proud to say that every show on offer stands in defiance to these mad, mixed-up times we’re currently living in.
