Laudate! Chamber Choir
Laudate! Chamber Choir was formed in March 2009 by Neil Shepherd and has since become known as one of Cornwall’s premier chamber choirs.
Concerts and performances are held at a variety of venues in and around the County. The choir performs mainly a sacred repertoire drawn from the 15th century to the present day. The choir is equally at home singing Choral Evensong in a village church or one of the UK’s fine cathedrals, as it is singing a more specialised concert in a church or concert hall.
Since the choir came into existence, it has performed at a large number of venues including Lanhydrock Church and, on several occasions Truro Cathedral. In December 2009 it provided the music for the BBC Radio Cornwall Carol Concert in Truro Cathedral.
Laudate! has a good relationship with members of Cornwall Community Choir with whom it shares concerts and events from time to time
