Michele Hanson - In conversation with Jonathon Coudrille
Date: Thursday 26th July 2012
Time: 18:30
Michele Hanson is one of the UK's wittiest and most popular columnists.
Her funny and sensitive pieces on ageing and modern Britain strike a chord with millions of people. She spent 25 years as a school teacher in inner London, but she escaped the chalk-face and began to write weekly columns for The Guardian. Her book Living With Mother was MIND book of the year in 2006. Her most recent book, What the Grown-Ups Were Doing, published earlier this year and serialized as 'Book of the Week' on BBC Radio 4, is an hilarious account of growing up in suburban West London.
Michele will be talking to Jonathon Coudrille about her growing-up years and her outlook on life now she is a sixty-something.
