Director Di Gregorio plays Gianni, a bachelor in his late fifties and carer for his 90-year-old mother.
When the city empties for the Ferragosto festival, Gianni finds himself looking after four elderly widows.
Partly autobiographical, filmed mainly in Di Gregorio’s family apartment in Rome with an amateur cast of irresistible older ladies.
A warm, spontaneous and touching comedy.
