Plump Dead Thighs & Pretty Blue Eyes
Fresh from the Bath International Festival Fringe: part concert, part theatre of the fringe tradition – an evening of in-character storytelling and great acoustic music and song, all based on the fascinating tradition of the murder ballad.
The show has been delighting audiences during its tour across the West Country since its premiere in August last year.
There’s a dash of history, plenty of off-kilter humour and the promise of a terrific night’s musical entertainment.
“Not sure what to expect?
They’re a lively and fun group of musicians who perform songs of murder through the ages in character – sometimes moving, sometimes silly, but always entertaining!
This show is a playful and truly joyous journey into the stories behind songs of murder throughout the ages – expect live music, storytelling and tongue-in-cheek dark humour! … an absolute joy!” (intoBodmin).
