Sounds Eclectic - In Concert
Sounds Eclectic, Rob and Sue Ford bring close harmony singing and guitar and double bass playing together with their own songs and covers drawn from the last 30 years of folk and other musical influences. The songs range from commentary on topical issues through to material reflecting their own lives and those of people around them.
It is difficult to pin point one particular style since their set comprises of music with different tempos and feel ranging from traditional folk songs like 'Spencer the Rover', through to the jazzy feel of Sting’s Moon over Bourbon Street, and Van Morrison’s ‘Moondance’, via their own close harmony songs, to those with a little bit of reggae and blues thrown in for good measure.
They don't take themselves too seriously, enjoy a relaxed interaction with their audiences, and perform for the craic
