Spring Flower Show- Sunday -

Spring Flower Show- Sunday

Date: Sunday 8th April 2018
Time: 10:00

The Cornwall Garden Society presents the 107th Cornwall Spring Flower Show

at the Boconnoc Estate.

The Cornwall Garden Society is delighted to present the 107th Cornwall Spring Flower Show at the stunning Boconnoc Estate near Lostwithiel.

The event was first staged in the late nineteenth century and has continued to run every year since – with occasional breaks for two world wars, petrol rationing and – in 1947 – severe snow.

The CGS Spring Flower Show is firmly established as one of the most widely respected flower shows in the UK. It’s also known as one of the most friendly and inclusive shows and as such we attract exhibitors and visitors from all over the country.

Following the outstanding success of the 2017 show, we are looking to make 2018 even more vibrant for our visitors.

As most will know our trade focus has always been to attract top quality nurserywomen and men (many of whom are based in the south-west), supported by other horticultural traders offering high quality products. In 2018, we will be providing more indoor space for nurseries (using the non-food end of the Long Marquee) to provide a wider range of attractions.

Also new for 2018 is an additional marquee which will be home to a range of interesting and high quality artisans/crafts. We believe this new aspect to the show, supported by appropriate marketing, will give the show an even wider audience appeal and increase visitor numbers over the two days of the show weekend.

Our Food from Cornwall area will be as “delicious” as always.

There will be the usual range of food outlets around the site.

The Spring Flower Show is the South West’s first major horticultural showcase of the year and is sponsored by Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management.

With head-turning show gardens; more than 100 horticultural trade stands; lectures; Gardeners’ Questions; children’s activities; live music and Cornish food and drink, the Show is a popular day out for all the family.

As well as offering competitive classes for children to enter, this year’s Show will provide a wealth of attractions for the gardeners of the future to enjoy.
