Snookerplus presents Stephen Hendry MBE v Ryan Day
Come and enjoy an evening of snooker with snooker’s youngest ever world champion, Stephen Hendry and Welsh number one Ryan Day.
Stephen Hendry is snooker’s ‘golden boy’ and generally considered the greatest snooker player eve. He dominated snooker throughout the 1990’s and was snooker’s world number one for eight consecutive years. He has currently won 36 ranking titles with 9 competitive 147’s to his name. Still in the top ten, Stephen is still hungry for another title.
Ryan Day currently ranked number 6 in the world rankings is one of the most consistent players on the circuit. He is renowned for his solid break building and potting ability which is why he has steadily worked his way up the rankings. He is also one of twenty seven players who has made over a hundred century breaks as a professional.
Ryan will begin the evening programme of events by playing 3 frames of snooker against local amateur players.
Stephen will then play 2 frames and the third frame will be auctioned to the highest bidder in the audience. The auction frame will be cash bids only.
After a short interval both players will play 7 frames of snooker against each other.
At the end of the evening everyone will have the chance to meet both players for autographs.
