FLIC stands for Films Launceston In the Community and is a community cinema project based in Launceston Town Hall which has been running since 2011.
Since then, we’ve been thrilled to bring the magic of the movies back to our beautiful Cornish town on the first Friday of every month. Our undoubted highlights have been screening The King’s Speech, which was watched by well over three hundred people over two days and a packed to the rafters night of Warhorse.
We are also proud to have linked up with the town’s youth council to deliver family matinees of the kind that made Saturday afternoons such fun in the not-too-distant past.
With handmade ice-creams from local firm Gerry’s Originals and a fully licensed bar, we aim to provide a great evening out for our patrons which always includes an intermission.
Car parking is available in the multi storey car park located directly behind the Town Hall.
