(ACT45) Cornish Evening - Rebellion - Adrian Rodda - An Gof And Special Guests

When does a protest movement become a rebellion?

How does it feel to leave your home for unknown territory?

What happens when you have to rely on the kindness of strangers?

This performance, featuring aptly-named musicians ‘An Gof’ (the term used to describe a Cornish patriot), tells in verse the story of the Cornish people’s march to London in 1497, to present grievances to the King… and what happened next.

We’ll be rounding off our 10th Penzance LitFest with a rebel-rousing Cornish Shout, continuing the living tradition of having bit of a ‘toot’, a ‘tuney’, an ‘after glow’ or a ‘shout’ down at the local.

Led by guest singers and musicians, we celebrate pub singing in Cornwall and bring the LitFest to a close for another year.

Tickets: £15.00. Includes Cornish Tapas And One Free Drink.
