Rob Barratt : 'In Performance'
The Charles Causley Festival is delighted to welcome back Rob Barratt: comic poet, humourist and singer from North Cornwall but born and bred in Dudley.
He combines clever word play, verse and song with satire, parody and audience participation.
Rob deals with such important topics as squid, second homes, data-driven education, TV chefs, conceptual art, Marmite, distressed furniture and tuk-tuks.
Rob has appeared at folk, literature and arts festivals all over the UK and in Ireland and Australia.
“This is not only clever but I think it’s very funny” ; Mike Harding
“His head is well and truly located in “Planet Barratt,” clearly a place of wonderfully bizarre inspiration.” ; Coventry Telegraph
“So clever it’s daft“ ; Telltales, Falmouth, Cornwall
