Diggory Piper – The Worst Pirate Ever
Children’s workshop and performance of Diggory Piper Pirate – Launceston’s very own pirate!
A humble Launceston lad, all he wanted was to play his lute but the lure of adventures on the high seas was too exciting to ignore.
Join Diggory Piper as he takes to the seas in his ship The Sweepstake.
Will he be victorious in assisting Queen Elizabeth I in her quest to vanquish the Spanish Armada or will his chronic sea sickness win over?
Little Trebiggan bring you this heart warming true story of an Elizabethan Robin Hood that will charm children from 3 upwards and their families.
The performance will be followed by a workshop, suitable for children aged 3+.
Children will be able to create works of art using pieces of plastic or driftwood collected from our beautiful beaches.
Participants are welcome to bring along small pieces that they have collected to use as well.
The workshop will promote the ‘2 minute beach clean’ which is touched on in the performance of Diggory Piper – The Worst Pirate Ever.
