Memories and reflections on Charles Causley
with Jane Nancarrow and Karen Howse
Jane had the pleasure and privilege of being taught by Charles Causley at the National School.
Jane will chat about her memories of Charles Causley, bringing her school days to life. Jane’s short story Salt and Olives is a memoir of these times and Jane will read from it during this session.
Karen was Artist in Residence at Cyprus Well in August 2017.
She will give an insight into what it is like to live and make art in Charles Causley’s unique house. Karen will discuss and show some of the drawings and prints she worked on during her time as Artist in Residence.
