The Cornish Renaissance
The Word Factory salons, hosted by Launceston and London based Cathy Galvin, are renowned for combining friendliness, excellent storytelling and easy conversation.
A warm welcome awaits in an evening of readings from the Guillemot Factory series by Adam Marek and from Cornish Short Stories by award-winning novelist and short story writer, Tom Vowler.
They will be joined in a discussion focused on the vitality of the short story form in Cornwall by Guillemot Press publisher Luke Thompson and Emma Timpany, editor of Cornish Short Stories.
All participants will be encouraged to send work inspired by the day to the Word Factory for possible publication on their website. www.thewordfactory.tv/site.
