Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry
Major Hugo White served as an infantry soldier for thirty years and was latterly the Light Infantry's Regimental Secretary in Cornwall.
In the 1980s he led the creation of Cornwall’s Regimental Museum and in 2006 his acclaimed comprehensive history of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry ’One and All’ was published.
Major White continues to lead the museum's research team in a voluntary capacity which he views as his opportunity to repay some of the loyalty and friendship accorded to him by his soldiers during his army service.
