Birds, Batteries and Beaches (St Anthony Walk)
Join David Hall on a circular walk around St Anthony’s Head, down to Molunan Beach, around to Place Manor and St Anthony’s Church and back to the Headland.
Learn about the fascinating history of this area and watch out for sea birds, peregrine, stonechat, finches, whitethroat and Atlantic seals.
We follow the coast path to Carricknath Point, where eel grass and sea horses can be found, and on to visit the ancient church of St Anthony and the stone coffin before returning by road back to the car park at St Anthony’s Head.
In places the path is quite steep and challenging so you are advised to wear hiking boots and bring binoculars if you have them.
Sorry, because of the steepness of the path, dogs are not allowed.
