Dolphins, Porpoises and Whales
Cetaceans – dolphins, porpoises and whales - our coasts are a hotspot for these charismatic animals.
Abby Crosby, Marine Conservation Officer, will speak about these exceptional creatures and highlight her work in research and conservation.
Cornwall is home to nearly a quarter of the world’s population of cetaceans – dolphins, porpoises and whales.
From the more common species like harbour porpoise, to the incredibly rare bowhead whale, our coasts are a hotspot for these charismatic animals which share our waters.
