Last Dog Dance :
Paradise Lost ( Lies Unopened Before Me )
Lost Dog Dance present a one man staging of Milton’s epic poem Paradise Lost - but not like whatever came into your head when you read the first bit of this sentence!
Combining theatre, comedy and movement, this is a journey through the story of the creation of everything, condensed into 75 minutes.
It’s a show which brings you the highlights of this well-known but often forgotten story, beginning with Lucifer’s rebellion and ending with Adam and Eve’s expulsion from the Garden of Eden.
One man plays all the characters, creates all the scenes and, despite his best efforts, falls a little short of perfection.
A show for anyone who has created anything (child, garden, paper aeroplane) and then watched it spiral out of control.
Created and performed by Ben Duke, winner of the Outstanding Male Performance Award at the 2016 National Dance Critics Awards.
Includes a Question & Answer session after the show.
Doors & Licensed Bar from 7.00pm, start time 8.00pm.
The event ends about 9.45pm. Plenty of time to catch the train back to Plymouth. Calstock Arts is only a few minutes walk from Calstock Rail Station
