Ivo Neame Quintet
Well known as the pianist with Phronesis and with Norwegian saxophonist Marius Neset, Ivo’s most recent release Strata sees him reach new heights as a composer, leading his quintet in a set of exuberant and creative originals.
His quintet features a stellar line-up of the cream of UK jazz: a return visit to Calstock Arts for Jim Hart (vibraphone) and Dave Hamblett (drums), plus a first time visit for Tori Freestone (saxes/flutes) and Huw Williams (double bass).
"This superb new quintet … signals the emergence of a UK-based jazz artist of international quality." Jazzwise
