The Lost Sound Chorus
Described as 'a compelling and powerful folk choir' at Sidmouth Folk Festival, The Lost Sound Chorus is building a strong reputation for exciting songs and performances in Devon – and now Cornwall!
They’ve supported Show Of Hands at this year’s St Ives September Festival and are lined up for more dates with them in 2020.
This 35-strong choir chooses songs from the unaccompanied singing traditions, finding beautifully crafted arrangements of traditional songs, as well as original works from inspiring new composers.
From majestic Medieval through a spectacular choral Blues to tender Scottish lilts and Georgian calling songs, it is an arresting and hearty winter programme.
Doors Open and Licensed Bar from 7.00pm. The show starts at 8.00pm
The show finishes about 10.15pm.
Plymouthians - The Train will take the Strain! - There's plenty of time to catch the train from Calstock Station back to Plymouth after the show. It's only a few minutes walk to the Station.
