Four of the most influential guitarists in Britain on one stage, with spontaneous, exciting, and technically brilliant individual styles.
With over forty years in the business, Gordon Giltrap is one of the most innovative acoustic guitarists in the UK. He will perform his much loved hits, as well as explaining the history behind his many guitars.
John Etheridge enjoys a glowing reputation throughout the jazz world as a gifted and creative player. His range is illustrated by years of touring and recording with the iconic Stephane Grappelli as well as with the legendary jazz-fusion group, The Soft Machine.
Raymond Burley has appeared at The Wigmore Hall, The Purcell Room and Birmingham's Symphony Hall. He has worked with many of England's foremost orchestras including the BBC Symphony, the Philharmonia, the English Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic.
The youngest member of the group is multi-award winning Clive Carroll, described by Acoustic Guitar magazine as ‘probably the best and most original young acoustic guitar player and composer in Britain’.
The concert consists of a mix of solo, duo, and quartet pieces.
