Critically acclaimed 4 piece Tyn Daga will be headlining this very special evening celebrating world music and local talent, supported by the unique Mélange Tous (Delpha Hudson and Nigel Bispham).
Described as ‘world class’ by the Cornish Guardian, Tyn Daga is a tour-de-force of world music featuring Uilleann (Irish) pipes, Irish whistles, guitar, bass and percussion.
Tyn Daga's repertoire encompasses songs and tunes from both these shores and far flung places.Intricate arrangements and self-penned material includes lively dance tunes, haunting melodies and captivating, rarely-heard time signatures.
Their last appearance at the Acorn was as support for Sarah McQuaid’s recent European Tour.
