Sound Of The Sirens
'Feel The Love'
'Ekhohead' & 'Boundless Brothers'
Exeter-based duo, Abbe Martin & Hannah Wood's live shows combine a natural facility for connecting with audiences and unforgettable performances predicated on energy, warmth, humour and, above all, real conviction.
Last year saw them play a number of shows and festivals in the UK and Europe. They supported Rick Astley on his sold out UK tour, Kiefer Sutherland on his UK dates and US artist Nahko in Europe.
Abbe and Hannah dovetail beautifully on their debut album “For All Our Sins” which was released in May 2017 to wide praise including from R2 Magazine who called it a “stunning debut collection.” They released new single ‘Chaos’ in November and were invited to play the song on Clare Bolding’s Good Morning Sunday show on BBC Radio2.
Sound of the Sirens want to both enlighten and entertain, and they want to do it with euphony

The evening will be supported by great local musicians:
Ekhohead is folk-influenced acoustic duo made up of brother and sister Jethro & Alyssa Lynch. Together they have been captivating audiences across the UK with original songwriting, impressive musicianship and unique soundscapes.
Boundless Brothers are Cornish band making melodic sounds and bringing an interesting mixture of Pop, Rock and Folk music with electric and acoustic sounds. They blend their voices together to create 3 part harmonies, which adds allot of depth and interest to their songs and been described as “one to watch”
Peter Crisp is a local author, poet, musician and singer.
Peter has composed a short and bittersweet song cycle: How I Got O L D Overnight! (that’s not old the adjective, old, it stands for On Line Dating Disasters-poignant and amusing).
This event will be supporting the St.Petroc’s society, Truro.
Its mission is to provide accommodation, support, advice and resettlement services to single homeless people in Cornwall.
