Trelowarren Estate and the case for Natural Capital
A short history and a description of current projects
Talk by Sir Ferrers Vyvyan
Trelowarren is a tranquil 1000 acre working estate on the Helford River, and inspired Daphne du Maurier’s Frenchman’s Creek, an iconic tale of handsome smugglers, secret assignations in wooded creeks and political intrigue.
Trelowarren is living history, and has been in the family of Sir Ferrers Vyvyan for almost six hundred years. Sir Ferrers’ talk will include a short history and describe the estate’s current projects, including its commitment to eco holidays & carbon offsetting.
