Date: Friday 1st April 2016
Following on from his highly successful ‘Grow your one Gig’ tour of 100 rural village halls, in 2016 Steve will be presenting ‘All At Sea’ - a tour that will find him at venues within sight and sound of the tide!
He says “ With so many original and traditional songs with maritime and nautical themes this will give me a unique opportunity to perform them in similar settings.”
This will be a significant concert as the venue, All Saints Church, Tuckingmill, nr Camborne is in the heart of the Cornish mining area. The church was built for the Miners and the head gear of South Crofty is close by.
“Cousin Jack”, one of Steve’s songs about the Cornish leaving Cornwall for a new life overseas as the mining industry faltered, will take on a new significance when it is sung in the area it was written about.
“Cousin Jack” will come home!
