Zoe Mulford & Tom Kitching
Raised near Philadelphia, Zoe took up the guitar and fell in love with the banjo during a twelve-year stint in Durham, North Carolina.
Four years in Washington, DC introduced her to the community of contemporary songwriters, including her label-mates at the Azalea City Recordings cooperative.
In 2006, she moved to the north of England.
She now divides her time between Philadelphia, PA and Manchester, UK and tours on both sides of the Atlantic.
Her newly-released fifth album, Small Brown Birds, centres on a new collaboration with English fiddler and mandolinist Tom Kitching.
The songs trace a progression from winter to spring, with a message of resilience, community, and hope in times of trouble.

Bodmin Folk Club
Bodmin Folk Club
In 1967, a small group of enthusiasts who met weekly to sing in the Masons Arms decided to start a club to attract traditional performers to Cornwall. The first recorded club night of the Bodmin Traditional Folk Club was on 31st May 1968 in an upper room at The Barley Sheaf.
Since then, the club has met almost every single Friday night, welcoming a range of singers, musicians and occasional dancers from Britain and beyond at both guest nights and open houses.
Our new home is upstairs at Bodmin Band & Social Club, with drinks at social club prices.
Find us there every Friday except Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and the August Bank Holiday weekend, when we’re at Cornwall Folk Festival.
