The Right On Comedy Tour with Matt Price and Graham Wilkes

Compered by Graham Wilkes.

Sorry! This Show has been Cancelled.

Cornish born comedians Matt Price and Graham Wilkes were chatting one evening about the amazing and totally weird gigs that they have both performed at in Cornwall and other parts of the South West, from having cats and dogs on stage with them to the women of the WI knitting in the front row and presenting the comics with scarves at the end of the gig.

It's always a brilliant experience when gigging in the motherland, so they thought “ Lets do a mini tour of Cornwall

This is when The Right On Comedy Tour was born.

Matt & Graham will be joined by Honorary Cornishman Mr Mark Dennett ( Mark Emmett) and other special guests such as Cornish musical Comedians What the Fork, and Torpoint's answer to Jimmy Carr, Mr Daniel Triscott.

Matt Price.
Among his fellow comics Matt Price is known for having some of the most extraordinary and outrageous stories drawn from the wilder side of life.

And yet this self effacing Cornish born comic brings real warmth and heart to his tales – as well as finding some audacious laughs in the most unexpected places.

Price’s easy going charm has made him a favourite on the UK and International circuit and he has the skill to win over the toughest audiences.

Despite the occasional misadventure on his travels Price continues to tour internationally and has worked in Eastern and Central Europe, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, South East Asia, Turkey, Australia and Scandanavia.

He is a skilled and in demand compere at weekend comedy clubs including Glee and Komedia and his versatility has made him a popular choice as a National tour support for acts such as Stephen K Amos and Norman Lovett.
"Arguably, one of the best storytellers on the circuit." ★★★★ Artshub Australia
"a genuine, ordinary guy spinning some yarns, extraordinary in their telling." ★★★★ Steve Bennett, Chortle
“Price is a terrific comedian and wonderful storyteller …. His Cornish burr becomes the whole bestiary of appalling characters that populate this gripping tale that engenders a gasp for every guffaw.” Kate Copstick, The Scotsman.

Graham Wilkes.
West Country based comedian Graham Wilkes has been performing regularly now for around 4 years, playing all types of gigs, from six people in a grotty back room of a pub, to playing big theatres with a thousand in attendance.

He is most happy when on stage and is always up for a challenge.

Grahams first ever gig was as MC in front of 700 people at Boardmasters festival, all because one of the organisers wanted him to try stand up comedy and also wanted comedy at the festival, he rose to the challenge and was then asked back every year since to perform 15-30 min sets over the weekend.

He is a story teller comedian drawing inspiration from his family, friends and his own odd and awkward ways.

He was shortlisted in the WOCA's in 2015 ( which is Cornwall's answer to the Oscars) in the best comedian section and once again in 2017 alongside Jethro and Dawn French.

However he doesn't believe in comedy competitions but prides himself on the fact that he is the only guest ever on the Carl Donnelly and Chris Martin podcast to have the episode removed due to legal reasons.

So that's an accolade of sorts.

Graham still provides the Intro music to that very same podcast and has provided other musical based comedy to other podcasts and comedians in the past, however this is under his side projects name 'Pimp in Distress' and his main focus is straight forward stand up.

"Quick witted with a great, fearless stage presence. His stories never fail to strike a cord with audiences." - Comedy Avengers.
" Very funny, original and likable" - Carl Donnelly.
" I wish I had thought of that bit myself " - Bobby Mair.
