'Mad Dog Mcrea' at Charlestown Harbour
Support : Flats & Sharps
Mad Dog Mcrea are playing live in the Inner Harbour for the opening of the Charlestown Classic Sail Festival.
The event includes a fully licenced bar and great food. Listen to Mad Dog surrounded by Classic Tall Ships!
Mad Dog Mcrea blend a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz and bluegrass music.
From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs.
In constant demand and having played just about every festival, Mad Dog Mcrea are, in every sense of the word, a live, band.
They are supported by Flats & Sharps, a Cornish four-piece bluegrass band. They've been playing hard driving finger pickin’ bluegrass for over 7 years, not bad for a raggle taggle bunch of young Cornishmen.
They've played to audiences the world over and have won fans young and old with their blinding picking, sublime harmonies and high energy live performances.
This year, Flats & Sharps have refined, distilled & recorded the experience they have gained over the years and will be touring their brand new album - "The Bluegrass Album" (subtlety hasn't quite reached the South West yet).
Flats & Sharps are here to put a smile on your face and get your feet a movin’ with their own unique mixture of contemporary original music, Americana & Bluegrass.
NB Disabled Access : Whilst there is a ramp down to the Inner Harbour, the ground around the harbour is cobbled and shingled.
