'Ethemia' Acoustic Duo
+ support Davey Dodds

We’re very excited to present live music from acoustic duo Ethemia.

Ethemia aka Michaela Mott & Berny Poulton hit 2019 running.
After a successful 2018 with the launch of their EP ‘Common Ground’, they began this year by supporting the legendary band ‘The Osmonds’ and the magic continues with an invitation to support folk legend, Al Stewart.

Their distinctive sound with strong vocals, beautiful harmonies, catchy melodies and great guitar riffs brings 'Fleetwood Mac' to mind. Their trademark charismatic onstage chemistry and heartfelt performances certainly leave their mark.

They have toured extensively throughout Europe and the UK and have been broadcast on many radio stations including BBC Introducing, The Gaby Roslin Show BBC London, and featured onBBC Radio 2.

They have supported many world class acts including, The Strawbs, Curved Air, Loudon Wainwright III, Steeleye Span, John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett and The Osmonds.

“Unbelievably beautiful, I love your harmonies. You cannot get a piece of paper between them….it’s spine chilling stuff” Stephen Bowman Blake Band (Winner of 3 Brit Awards).

“Wow, I hear two absolutely incredible voices, utterly incredible” Pete Brown Producer/Songwriter and Co-writer of Cream with Eric Clapton & Jack Bruce.

‘In a word….stunning! Ethemia is more on the level of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush’s tender piquant duet….it is a timeless album” Green Man Music Promotions.

Davey Dodds’
songs and music have grown out of the very roots and bones of Cornwall where he lives.

It’s been a few years since this singer and enigmatic performer was last heard of and while recent years saw Red Jasper ,his former band,  alive and kicking, their original front man remained invisible – until now.

Davey Dodds is back... progressive folk’s prodigal son returns. His style, grace and honesty finds a different context for songs old and new, not to mention his 'Storm Cat Song' dedicated to Mousehole!
