The Lion Tamer is the latest in the silent movie repertoire of the award winning Bash Street Theatre Co. from Penzance.

A melodrama full of action, pathos and silent comedy from a bygone era, The Lion Tamer combines circus skills, slapstick comedy and an original musical score to bring you a black and white movie show from the golden age of the silver screen.

A down-at-heel showman is rapidly running out of acts for his travelling circus when a stranger arrives in town. When the lion tamer has an unfortunate accident, the newcomer is ‘volunteered’ for the job - with comic and catastrophic results!
