Concert by The Cornish Sinfonia Soloists

Director & Piano : Michael Reed

The Soloist Members of Cornish Sinfonia are delighted to be performing at the St. Ives September Festival and are particularly pleased that our principal conductor, Michael Reed, is to play piano in this concert.

Michael has a busy career in London, particularly in West End musicals and was music supervisor for Andrew Lloyd Webber on more than twenty productions.      He has conducted the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra and was the original conductor for the Classical Spectacular series at the Royal Albert Hall.

The full Cornish Sinfonia itself will shortly gain enormous prestige and publicity for the cultural life of Cornwall, following a concert organised by the Korean delegation at the G7 Summit, in a programme that will be streamed live worldwide.
