Olivier Van Den Hende will perform a unique interpretation of the first suite for cello by Johan Sebastian Bach.
Expect to be moved by the cello and the performer’s physicality in this contemporary approach of a timeless piece of music. Olivier will juggle conventional and experimental to immerse the audience into the world of Bach, all through a contemporary lens.

Olivier Van Den Hende is a graduate from the National Conservatory in Paris and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
He is a multi-disciplinary artist who uses music to inform his work.
Olivier’s works includes the musical composition for Cicuro,  a collaborative piece brought to MIRA Festival in St. Petersburg Russia in 2019, The Lost Supper, a collaborative video piece currently exhibited as part of The Lockdown Biennale in Seychelles, and co-founding Sturz in 2019, an experimental theatre company.

He has recently worked with Thiasos theatre company on a new Translation of Ploutos, by Aristophanes, alongside working in Film, and TV.
Olivier also teaches performance making on the post graduate course AAIS at the AA School of Architecture in London.
