Cornwall Community Choir

Formed in 2009 by St Erth based professional musician, Neil Shepherd, the Choir's Patron is Grenville Jones, star of BBC 1’s “Last Choir Standing” programme.
The 200 singers of the choir meet in five morning and afternoon groups each week in St Ives, Penzance, Helston, St. Stephen and Truro.
The choir sings a wide range of music including classical, folk, spirituals, pop songs, show tunes, rounds and canons.
There are no auditions. Bathroom singers as well as experienced choral singers are equally welcome, especially gentlemen who are usually in short supply in any choir!
The aim of the choir is to encourage people to take up singing and many members go on to join some of the many evening choirs which exist throughout Cornwall
