Flats & Sharps - a young bluegrass band from Penzance who are rapidly becomimg a big hit at festivals throughout the country. Their latest album "Proper Job" was released in the Summer.
Gally's Folly - an established and popular local trio equipped with superb songwriting talent and whether singing Dylan, Irish Folk or their own legendary songs, are guaranteed to raise the roof.
Tyn Daga - a critically acclaimed trio playing local music from around the world with a wide ranging repertoire, encompassing lively dance tunes to haunting and moving melodies and captivating, rarely-heard time signatures, drawing inspiration from English, Celtic and Irish music, tunes from the Balkans and Eastern Med, old and new alike and featuring Uilleann (Irish) Pipes or Irish whistles, acoustic guitar (often using alternate and open tunings), backed by a variety of world percussion and arranged in their ownr unique style.
Kezia - an outstanding young singer, now based in Falmouth and performing throughout Cornwall. She's been called "Cornwall's answer to Laura Marling" - but she's better than that!
Catrina D'Olive - a singer with a hauntingly beautiful voice with echoes of Joannie Mitchell and Buffy St. Marie but with a magical style and repertoire that is all her own.
Kaileigh & Steve Cornfield - In just over eighteen months, Kaileigh has deveopled into one of the best singers in West Cornwall and her stirring style and songs are beautifully accompanied by dad, Steve, on guitar.
Cosmic Ronnie and the Deep Fried Frogs - a new combination of brilliant local musicians featuring the the polish and style of Martin & Sophie Sadler, the inimitable guitar of Dom McAffry and the cosmic sounds of the one and only Ronnie Best. A debut not to be missed!
