St Austell's Festival of Fun
Restormel Arts regularly present Jazz and Folk nights at the Bosun’s Diner in Charlestown and produced the successful community play ‘As Well Be Shot As Be Starved’ in 2013. The Directors felt the time was right to produce another large scale community event and so St Austell's Festival of Fun was born.
Positive meetings with organisations and business representatives in and around the town have already resulted in linking up a variety of venues and people who will be supporting and working with the Festival of Fun committee to deliver a wide range of events involving the whole community :
St. Austell Market House, the Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, St. Austell Arts Theatre, Wheal Martyn Museum, St. Austell Library, Radio St. Austell Bay, Cooklands, White River Cinema, Great Western Railway, Cymaz, Swamp Circus, Homegrown Homicide, To Life Theatre, St. Austell BID, St. Austell CoC, White River Developments, Cornish Market World, Crowdfunder, Kitty Gubbins Vintage Emporium and St. Austell College are already on board and making plans to fill the town with music, theatre, dance and laughter.
The Festival of Fun committee are keen for everyone to become involved in this community based event, if you would like to be involved please click here to email or call 01726 844238 or 0770 245 2265.
