The Roseland Peninsula is bordered by the Fal River to the west and north, the English Channel to the south. Whilst the King Harry Ferry provides a link to Trelissick in the west, there is little through traffic to affect the tranquillity of the charming towns and villages on the Roseland. The gorgeous country and coastal scenery gives one superb views at every twist and turn of the lanes - when the high Cornish hedges will allow !
St Mawes enjoys its own 'micro-climate', enjoying the mild climate of Cornwall together with an exceptionally sheltered and maritime situation. The picturesque, fishing village of Portscatho faces boldly out across the Bay from whence its livelihood was first derived.
Its a relaxing place, at any time of year. Click here for more information and accommodation on the Roseland Peninsula.
Come to the Roseland in October this year and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Roseland Festival !
